Itirenary Planning Application

The subject of this bachelor thesis is the design and implementation of an application for planning itineraries. The application aims to simplify the planning of the entire travel and provide a tool for the user to create multiple travel versions. These versions can also be compared with each other in both financial and time aspects. The application provides a clear and attractive user's interface along with features which make the entire process of planning easier. Such features, for example, include autocompleting of location names from the Google Map database or automatic currency conversion according to the current Czech national bank rate.

Business Plan – Establishment of Parking for Campers and Caravans

The purpose of this bachelor's thesis is to make a business plan for the establishment of a stellplatz on land that is owned by my father. In the analytical part, I will evaluate the current state and the overall starting position for the practical part. I dedicate the practical part to a specific business plan, its financing, the necessities without which the plan would not have taken place and, last but not least, its evaluation, whether the business plan is feasible at all.

Emotional Cartography

The work aims to artistically compile perception of maps as a fact, what let us think about The world - how we know it from the map. I work with data, which I gain by displaying technology – eye tracking, which helps me to record track of moving eyes during watching any kind of picture. The observations will be people from different places such a place of stay etc. Gained data I am going to use as a study, which I will componate to maps and different vizualizations of world, countries etc. "Where i have not ever been before, it does not exist" – is idea of percepting world, wich I also work with on that project. Study will contain all aspect of perceiving maps and systematicly shown world related to the person, his memories to that place, fyzical contact and his impact in his scale person versus a the world.

Car Design

I chose car design, because I like to discover modern car accidence. I find developmnet in this part of design fascinating. I’d probably have most freedom while designing a sport car, but since its very popular theme among students, I went with car for traveling. At first I wanted to create a futuristic concept. So I mostly did just idea sketching, while focusing on dynamic shape. Later I started to add more functional aspects to the design. I wanted to create automobile, that would bypass private cars and minibuses. I tryed to make my car flexible for traveling even longer distances, also sideseeing and city transport, therefor big part of exteriour is covered by windows, which leads to weaker cabine. Thats why I made firmer side posts to support the roof. While designing I was influenced by recent concepts and latest technologies, that were presented by leading automobile companies, such as electric glas and glas shaping. I believe one of the most interesting parts on my car is the headlights, that are situated under the front window surface. The headlights and also partialy the engine is visible from above through the frontal glass hood.

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na revoluční technologii zvanou hyperloop. Cílem této práce je shromáždění relevantních informací o konceptu hyperloopu. Práce se zabývá stručnou historií hyperloopu počínaje prvním konceptem hyperloopu, vysvětlením základní infrastruktury a výčtem technologií použitých v tomto konceptu. Dále jsou uvedené vybrané společnosti pracující na technologii hyperloopu spolu s jejich úspěchy a návrhy. Práci uzavírá výčet problémů a výzev, se kterými se vývoj hyperloopu potýká, projekty, které prochází vývojem a stručný pohled do budoucnosti.

Práce a osobní život digitálních nomádů

The bachelor thesis focuses on the phenomenon of digital nomadism. In the Czech environment, this is a relatively new trend of combining teleworking and traveling, together with a change in the content of the working day and the lifestyle as such. The aim of the work is, with the help of semi-structured interviews with digital nomads, to clarify the work regime, leisure time, travel and overall their experience with digital nomadism. The theoretical part covers the relationship between the transformation of society and nomadism, and then characterizes the transformational changes in terms of mobility, the transformation of the media landscape and the sphere of work. The practical part evaluates qualitative research with specific nomads who explain aspects of this lifestyle. The outputs of the work can be useful to better illustrate this flexible form of employment from the early 21st century.

Czechoslovak volleyball foreign relations 1948 - 1971

The main goal of this dissertation is to compare the influence of international politic relations on foreign sports relations and to examine the conditions of national volleyball teams' trips abroad during the period of the so-called state socialism. During this period, the world was divided due to the Cold War and Czechoslovakia came under the Soviet influence. The period of unification of physical education and legislation that influenced the functioning of sports and physical education units, including organized volleyball, is an important milestone of the work. The focus is on the activities of the CSTV, the instructions and recommendations it issued and which athletes had to follow when travelling abroad. At the same time, it is necessary to highlight the activities of the International Volleyball Federation, which was founded by the Czechoslovak Volleyball and Basketball Association. The key point is its expansion and influence on the development of global volleyball rules, which were partly formed by its members, who significantly changed the style of the game. The question is therefore whether the travel opportunities of our athletes abroad for international, friendly or exhibition matches, or even for key events such as the World Championships, European Championships or Olympic Games, have...
